Countdown to Prince Harry's memoir "Spare" with two new interviews by Harry to launch the book

January 10th 2023 is the official release date for Prince Harry's memoir "Spare". Ahead of the publication Harry has sat down for two new interviews, one with Anderson Cooper to be aired on the US CBS TV channel and the other with Tom Bradby to be aired on the UK ITV network. Both interviews air on Sunday January 8th 2023.

Kind thoughts for Meghan Markle
Trailers for the two interviews give hints of what we can expect to hear Harry talk about, including:

  • his childhood
  • hie relationship with his mother, the late Princess Diana
  • His decision to move from the UK to America
  • His broken relationships with his father (King Charles) and his brother (The Prince of Wales)
  • How the Royal motto "Never Complain Never Explain" is false as the Royals leak stories to the media all the time
UK commentators are expecting Harry to face robust questioning on some of the topics he and Meghan raised in both their Oprah interview and in their Netflix series e.g. the question of racism within the Royal household. I think this is just hype or a hope on the part of the UK press and not likely to be a reality. I cannot see Harry naming the person / people who he believes to be racist in the Royal Family, but with Harry you never know.
