Meghan Markle votes in the 2022 US mid-term Elections

Curtesy of  Meghan and Harry's Archewell website we have confirmation (not that this was ever in doubt) that Meghan cast her vote in the 2022 US mid-term elections. Meghan did not say who she voted for but you would be safe to bet that she did NOT vote for the GOP (Republicans).

Meghan also posted a list of helpful reminders for Americans preparing to go out and cast their own votes:
  • Check your polling location and hours
  • Make sure you have the right ID to vote
  • Research what is on your ballot
  • Bring snacks, comfortable shoes, and a book or activity in case lines are long
  • If you’re in line when the polls close, you’re legally allowed to vote, no matter how long the line is
  • If anyone intimidates or tries to suppress your right to vote, call the voter protection hotline: 866-OUR-VOTE

I know we should not encourage the tabloids to hunt out pictures of Meghan, Harry and Archie, but it was lovely to see a recent pic. of the "Adorable Archie" just ahead of his second birthday on May 6th 2021. And look at Meghan's bump. Baby No.2 is growing nicely and it appears that it won't be long before Archie's sister arrives. Was Archie off to a play date? Archewell Foundation's newly appointed Co-Executive Director gets straight to work

At the start of 2023, Meghan and Harry announced some staffing changes for their Archewell organization that included the appointment of Shauna Nep as a Co-Executive Director of Archewell Foundation (AWF). Shauna, a graduate of the University of British Columbia and having a masters degree from New York University, had most recently worked as a Vice-President of Philanthropy at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects.  Getting straight to work Shauna together with the existing Executive Director, James Holt, signed  Archewell Foundation's just published 2020-2022 Impact Statement .  The impact statement provided a great overview of the work completed by Harry and Meghan's Foundation over the past two years and includes a brief section called "Looking Ahead." Prince Harry joins Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the podcast Armchair Expert

Prince Harry was a guest of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman in episode 325 of their podcast, Armchair Expert. During the hour and a half episode, the trio touched on many issues relating to trauma, addictions, mental health and emotional well-being.  Harry also spoke about life in the Royal Family (including some notable moments before he married Meghan) and they touched on his reasons for leaving. Harry, Dax and Monica talked about Harry's life in the British Army, press intrusion into family life, and about some of the pros and cons of social media.
