Prince Harry & Meghan Markle partner with Project Healthy Minds on a mental health Resource Guide

On what was World National Health Day 2022 Meghan and Harry announced through a post on their Archewell Foundation website that they had partnered with non-profit Project Healthy Minds to release an up-dated digital guide to mental health resources (in the US).

Kind thoughts for Meghan Markle

The on-line guide serves as a quick link to resources that people feel that they need, which can be search by clicking either our emotional state that we are seeking information on, or by clicking the type of resource we are looking for, with the aim to try and simply the process.

Project Healthy Minds is a relatively new organization, launched on October 1, 2020 with a press release that spoke of "leaders from business, entertainment, healthcare, public policy and technology wanting to tackle America’s urgent mental health crisis at a time when COVID-19 was driving record cases of depression and suicidal thoughts, especially among young adults."

At its launch, Project Healthy Minds had two main goals
  1. Building a free, consumer-friendly, one-stop digital referral platform that aims to increase access to care by making it fast and easy to find and navigate available resources, and
  2. Designing a multi-platform anti-stigma campaign featuring culture-makers and influencers.

Meghan and Harry's Archewell Foundation partnership has facilitated Project Healthy Minds ability to release an up-dated digital discovery platform to offer a one-stop-shop, that helps people in America to navigate the often confusing space of mental health services and connects them with tailored support based on their individual needs.

Meghan and Harry first drew attention to the work being done by Project Healthy Minds back in August of 2021, at a time when people globally were affected by the after effects of the sudden withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, there were on-going stresses dealing with COVID-19, and when Haiti had just experienced another devastating earth quake.
