Meghan Markle is set to speak at a "Power of Women" fund-raising event in Indianapolis

The Women's Fund of Central Indiana have announced that Meghan will participate in their November 29th 2022 in person event in Indianapolis called, "An evening with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex." The evening is likely to feature discussions on the theme of female empowerment.

The mission of the non-profit Women's Fund is to "mobilizes people, ideas and investments so every woman and girl in the Central Indiana community has an equitable opportunity to reach their full potential – no matter her place, race or identity."

The organization was established in 1996 and champions education (including teaching youth about philanthropy), emotional / mental health initiatives, plus other programs. 

The fund-raising evening with Meghan is a private event with tickets for a table of 10 running at $5,000 (including food and drinks). Per the organization's website, photography or any recording of the event is strictly prohibited and the event is closed to the media. Attendees are expected to provide either proof of receiving a COVID vaccination or they must show a negative PCR test.

Archewell Foundation's newly appointed Co-Executive Director gets straight to work

At the start of 2023, Meghan and Harry announced some staffing changes for their Archewell organization that included the appointment of Shauna Nep as a Co-Executive Director of Archewell Foundation (AWF). Shauna, a graduate of the University of British Columbia and having a masters degree from New York University, had most recently worked as a Vice-President of Philanthropy at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects.  Getting straight to work Shauna together with the existing Executive Director, James Holt, signed  Archewell Foundation's just published 2020-2022 Impact Statement .  The impact statement provided a great overview of the work completed by Harry and Meghan's Foundation over the past two years and includes a brief section called "Looking Ahead." Prince Harry joins Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the podcast Armchair Expert

Prince Harry was a guest of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman in episode 325 of their podcast, Armchair Expert. During the hour and a half episode, the trio touched on many issues relating to trauma, addictions, mental health and emotional well-being.  Harry also spoke about life in the Royal Family (including some notable moments before he married Meghan) and they touched on his reasons for leaving. Harry, Dax and Monica talked about Harry's life in the British Army, press intrusion into family life, and about some of the pros and cons of social media.
