Meghan Markle & Prince Harry release a statement on the Queen's death & with Meghan putting her podcast on pause

Today we had press releases for Harry and Meghan following the Queen's death last week. A formal statement was released by Prince Harry through his and Meghan's Archewell website, accompanied by a photo of Harry and the Queen enjoying a special moment together at a family wedding.

Harry spoke of how the Queen was globally admired for her commitment to service and duty. On a personal note, Harry spoke of cherishing all the times that he and his family had been able to spend with the Queen. Harry wrote of the Queen having hugged both Archie and Lili. Harry took solace in the fact that his grandmother (the Queen) and his grandfather (Prince Phillip) are now reunited.

Later, we heard indirectly from Meghan, in the form of a statement issued through Spotify who have exclusive airing rights to Meghan's podcast Archetypes. As had been widely speculated in the newspapers and on-line, Meghan has requested that no further episodes of her podcasts be released during the official mourning period for the Queen. A sign of respect from Meghan.

It is also rumoured that Meghan and Harry have cancelled other planned events during this period.
