King Charles shuts down rumours of any change, following the Queen's death, to the roles of Prince Harry & Meghan Markle

In his first televised speech as King Charles the III, the King thanked his mother for her service and he made his own promise with Camilla at his side, to continue to serve the people of UK and Commonwealth countries, no matter their faiths and beliefs, for the rest of his life. He also confirmed that William and Kate would take over the titles, Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, also  Prince and Princess of Wales. Charles went on to say "I express my love for Prince Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas."

This statement appears to shut down rumours, for now at least, that Harry and Meghan's roles within the Royal Family would change now that the Queen has died. This does not mean that things might not change down the road, if this is something that all of the family wish to have happen, but for now at least, the status quo continues.

Kind thoughts for Meghan Markle
