King Charles asked Prince Harry to wear Military uniform to the Vigil by the Queen's Grandchildren

We saw Prince Harry in military uniform as he and the Queen's other seven grandchildren held a 15-minute vigil at the Queen's coffin in the Palace of Westminster in London, where the Queen lays in state. This is the first time in history that the grandchildren of a monarch have stood in vigil beside a coffin. This was also the first time Harry has been seen wearing military uniform since he and Meghan stepped back as senior working Royals in 2020. On stepping back, Harry lost the automatic right to wear his military uniform.

Kind thoughts for Meghan Markle
Harry wore a Blues and Royals No 1 Uniform, KCVO Neck Order and Star, Afghanistan Operational Service Medal, Golden, Diamond and Platinum Jubilee medals and Army Pilot Wings.

Prince Harry stood at the foot end of the coffin with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, the daughters of Prince Andrew to each side of him. Prince William, who was also in his military uniform, was at the head of the coffin. All eight grandchildren had their heads bowed as members of the public continued to file past them in Westminster Hall.
