Prince Harry rides in the 2022 Sentebale Charity polo match in Aspen, Colorado

Not long back from his working tour in Africa, but no rest for the Wicked! Prince Harry reunited with his polo buddy Nacho Figueras to take part in the annual ISPS Handa Polo Cup in Aspen, Colorado - playing a round-robin tournament against other US Polo Association teams. The tournament will raise money for Harry's African based charity, Sentebale. Nacho Figueras is an ambassador of the charity. The Sentebale team won the tournament.

The annual polo event is the charity's largest fundraiser of the year with the funds raised used to help children and communities in the African countries of Lesotho and Botswana. In particular children and families who live in extreme poverty, and / or who suffer inequalities and / or who have contracted the HIV virus benefit from the charity.

Prince Harry advised that the funds raised this year come at a critical time as the need in these communities has been made worse by the pandemic. Harry has previously committed to donate some of the royalties from his up-coming auto-biography to Sentebale.

A US based reporter at the event for Hello Magazine wrote that at the start of the tournament Prince Harry asked for a minute of silence. The players removed their hats as a tribute to honour those polo players who had recently passed away, including one player who had been slated to play in the tournament.
