Meghan Markle & Prince Harry to join Global Citizen international broadcast event live from New York City’s Central Park

Global Citizen have announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be joining the 24-hour  Global Citizen Live event being broadcast in Central Park New York on September 25th 2021, with the event featuring performances from all over the world, including: Lagos, London, Los Angeles, New York City, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, Sydney and other locations.

The purpose of the 24 hour event is to highlight the Global Citizen campaign called a "Recovery Plan for the World" which focuses on 5 pillars

  1. Ending the Pandemic
  2. Stopping the Hunger Crisis
  3. Ensure Learning for All Children
  4. Protecting the Planet and
  5. Advancing Equity for All

A whole host of world leaders and artists and performers will be taking part in the 24-hour event which will be televised and available to watch on various TV channels and streaming services.

Archewell Foundation's newly appointed Co-Executive Director gets straight to work

At the start of 2023, Meghan and Harry announced some staffing changes for their Archewell organization that included the appointment of Shauna Nep as a Co-Executive Director of Archewell Foundation (AWF). Shauna, a graduate of the University of British Columbia and having a masters degree from New York University, had most recently worked as a Vice-President of Philanthropy at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects.  Getting straight to work Shauna together with the existing Executive Director, James Holt, signed  Archewell Foundation's just published 2020-2022 Impact Statement .  The impact statement provided a great overview of the work completed by Harry and Meghan's Foundation over the past two years and includes a brief section called "Looking Ahead." Prince Harry joins Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the podcast Armchair Expert

Prince Harry was a guest of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman in episode 325 of their podcast, Armchair Expert. During the hour and a half episode, the trio touched on many issues relating to trauma, addictions, mental health and emotional well-being.  Harry also spoke about life in the Royal Family (including some notable moments before he married Meghan) and they touched on his reasons for leaving. Harry, Dax and Monica talked about Harry's life in the British Army, press intrusion into family life, and about some of the pros and cons of social media.
