Meghan and Harry's visit comes a day after US President Joe Biden promised during a virtual COVID summit, held on the margins of the UN General Assembly, to buy 500 million doses of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine which the US will donate for distribution across the world.

Meghan and Harry have been regularly advocating for increased / equitable vaccine sharing by rich countries to poorer countries.
