Thomas Markle makes a $287 blunder on Meghan Markle's 40th Birthday

According to an "exclusive" report on US gossip website TMZ Thomas Markle arranged to have a flower arrangement of 24 red roses and 2 yellow roses delivered to Meghan Markle on her 40th Birthday together with a card.

Kind thoughts for Meghan Markle

TMZ report that Thomas specifically wanted to incorporate his grandchildren, Archie and Lili in Meghan's birthday flower arrangement, representing them with the 2 yellow roses. 

Nice you might say? No, not really. Thomas Markle is once again acting in a self-serving manner trying to portray himself as the hard done by 'nice guy' and as someone deserving of having visits with his grandkids. I smell a lawyer behind the whole thing. 

If Thomas was serious about rekindling a relationship with Meghan he would have done better to send the flowers without letting the media know about it and without telling the media that "Meghan has not responded."

The other ironic part of this story is that Thomas apparently spent $287 on the flowers and no one is batting an eyelid, as compared to the scathing reports about Prince Harry when he allegedly spent $225 on Meghan's Birthday cake. Go figure.

I know we should not encourage the tabloids to hunt out pictures of Meghan, Harry and Archie, but it was lovely to see a recent pic. of the "Adorable Archie" just ahead of his second birthday on May 6th 2021. Archewell Foundation's newly appointed Co-Executive Director gets straight to work

At the start of 2023, Meghan and Harry announced some staffing changes for their Archewell organization that included the appointment of Shauna Nep as a Co-Executive Director of Archewell Foundation (AWF). Shauna, a graduate of the University of British Columbia and having a masters degree from New York University, had most recently worked as a Vice-President of Philanthropy at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects.  Getting straight to work Shauna together with the existing Executive Director, James Holt, signed  Archewell Foundation's just published 2020-2022 Impact Statement .  The impact statement provided a great overview of the work completed by Harry and Meghan's Foundation over the past two years and includes a brief section called "Looking Ahead." Prince Harry joins Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the podcast Armchair Expert

Prince Harry was a guest of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman in episode 325 of their podcast, Armchair Expert. During the hour and a half episode, the trio touched on many issues relating to trauma, addictions, mental health and emotional well-being.  Harry also spoke about life in the Royal Family (including some notable moments before he married Meghan) and they touched on his reasons for leaving. Harry, Dax and Monica talked about Harry's life in the British Army, press intrusion into family life, and about some of the pros and cons of social media.
