Meghan Markle appears on screen at the VAX Live Concert.

Meghan made a video appearance towards the end of the Global Citizen VAX Live concert, when she urged everyone to join together to help the global recovery from Covid-19. She noted that we have all missed connecting - both locally and globally. 

Meghan spoke of how women have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic. #vaxlive - Listen in to my latest Podcast for more.

Speaking from a bench (The Bench?) in her Montecito garden, Meghan told viewers that women, and especially women of colour, have seen a generation of economic gain wiped out due to the pandemic, due to job losses and the downloading of child-care responsibilities.

Meghan pushed for gender equality. She made reference to the baby daughter that she is soon to give birth to, saying that when she and Harry think of their baby girl they "think of all the young women and girls around the globe who must be given the ability and the support to lead us forward."

Archewell Foundation's newly appointed Co-Executive Director gets straight to work

At the start of 2023, Meghan and Harry announced some staffing changes for their Archewell organization that included the appointment of Shauna Nep as a Co-Executive Director of Archewell Foundation (AWF). Shauna, a graduate of the University of British Columbia and having a masters degree from New York University, had most recently worked as a Vice-President of Philanthropy at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects.  Getting straight to work Shauna together with the existing Executive Director, James Holt, signed  Archewell Foundation's just published 2020-2022 Impact Statement .  The impact statement provided a great overview of the work completed by Harry and Meghan's Foundation over the past two years and includes a brief section called "Looking Ahead." Prince Harry joins Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the podcast Armchair Expert

Prince Harry was a guest of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman in episode 325 of their podcast, Armchair Expert. During the hour and a half episode, the trio touched on many issues relating to trauma, addictions, mental health and emotional well-being.  Harry also spoke about life in the Royal Family (including some notable moments before he married Meghan) and they touched on his reasons for leaving. Harry, Dax and Monica talked about Harry's life in the British Army, press intrusion into family life, and about some of the pros and cons of social media.
