Meghan Markle and P&G make a combined Mother's Day (practical) donation to LA based Harvest Home

In honour of Mother's Day 2021 in the US and Canada, Meghan, through the Archewell Foundation and Procter and Gamble have made a donation to LA based Harvest Home, a charity that supports pregnant women. Meghan and P&G looked at Harvest Home's on-line wish list, and they have chosen to make a donation that includes diapers for a year and cleaning supplies to stock the shelves at Harvest Home’s first facility as well as their new home in progress.

Kind thoughts for Meghan Markle
Harvest Home's  mission is to transform the lives of homeless pregnant women and their children by providing housing, support, and programs that equip women to become great mothers.

Meghan said that pregnancy can be a vulnerable time for any mother, but it can be especially difficult for pregnant women of color and those who come from under-resourced and vulnerable communities.

Harvest Home posted on their Instagram account that they were thrilled to have the support of Archewell Foundation, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Procter & Gamble, to ensure that the moms and babies at Harvest Home are celebrated all throughout the year. Harvest Home advised that Meghan had sent them a hand-written letter with news of the donation.

Happy Mother's Day to you all!
