Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announce the location of their 3rd Community Relief Centre in Mumbai

As part on the ongoing collaborative work between Archewell Foundation and World Central Kitchen (WCK) Harry and Meghan announced that the location of their 3rd Community Relief Kitchen, being built from funds from their Foundation, will be located in Mumbai in India.

Meghan Markle has long supported the poor and disenfranchised in India, particular women, in her work with the Myna Mahila Foundation.

The announcement was made on a day that saw sad COVID-19 figures from India. Reportedly India’s total virus cases are now over 25 million, and with hundreds of thousands of lives lost to the virus.

WCK are currently active in ten cities across India. WCK teams are serving 20,000 fresh meals daily to frontline hospital workers and to Covid quarantine centers.
