Meghan Markle & Prince Harry's Oprah interview prompts Buckingham Palace to review its Diversity Policies

According to UK newspaper reports Buckingham Palace will be reviewing its existing diversity policies across all of the Royal Households. This announcement comes after the Oprah interview with Harry and Meghan when issues of race and discrimination were discussed. The interview caused negative press for the Palace.
Kind thoughts for Meghan Markle

The Mail on Sunday has reported that Palace officials will work in collaboration with people from "minority backgrounds, disabled people, and gay and transgender communities." (People from indigenous communities are not mentioned)

Given the Royal Family are funded in part from funds from the UK Government, it is only right that the Royal Family are held to the same standards as any other government department.

This is great, I just hope this is not to save face. I hope it is coming from a genuine place of diversifying.
