Meghan Markle & Prince Harry donated lunch to Volunteers ahead of MLK National Day of Service 2021

Volunteer veterans with non-profit The Mission Continues, were treated to lunch by Meghan and Harry, with the lunch catered by women from another of Harry and Meghan's favourite non-profits, Homeboy Industries

The volunteers at The Mission Continues have posted a copy of a Thank You note from Meghan and Harry on their social media accounts, thanking Meghan and Harry for "fueling the volunteers of the charity's LA Service Platoon with lunch - so they can continue their hard work in Compton LA."

They added that they were truly honoured to have Meghan and Harry's support.

Ahead of the Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. National Day of Service volunteer veterans at The Mission Continues are helping to feed the millions of families who are facing food insecurity and financial hardship. The non-profits estimates that nearly one in six Americans will struggle with food insecurity as a result of Covid-19.

Archewell Foundation's newly appointed Co-Executive Director gets straight to work

At the start of 2023, Meghan and Harry announced some staffing changes for their Archewell organization that included the appointment of Shauna Nep as a Co-Executive Director of Archewell Foundation (AWF). Shauna, a graduate of the University of British Columbia and having a masters degree from New York University, had most recently worked as a Vice-President of Philanthropy at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects.  Getting straight to work Shauna together with the existing Executive Director, James Holt, signed  Archewell Foundation's just published 2020-2022 Impact Statement .  The impact statement provided a great overview of the work completed by Harry and Meghan's Foundation over the past two years and includes a brief section called "Looking Ahead." Prince Harry joins Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the podcast Armchair Expert

Prince Harry was a guest of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman in episode 325 of their podcast, Armchair Expert. During the hour and a half episode, the trio touched on many issues relating to trauma, addictions, mental health and emotional well-being.  Harry also spoke about life in the Royal Family (including some notable moments before he married Meghan) and they touched on his reasons for leaving. Harry, Dax and Monica talked about Harry's life in the British Army, press intrusion into family life, and about some of the pros and cons of social media.
