Meghan Markle Participates in CNN's Heroes - An All Start Tribute - to Give Thanks to Volunteers

Long Time No See (and we have missed her) - Meghan Markle has emerged from a period of being out of spotlight and all for a good cause. 

This evening Meghan participated in CNN's Heroes Event. She gave a surprise video appearance to thank all those who came together to ensure that people housebound and / or people in need, including families and young children, have been able to access food and school lunch programs during the Covid-19 crises.

In her video that you can access here, Meghan speaks of how inspired she has been by the many people who during the Covid-19 crises, have put their own needs aside to come together to support "the collective well-being of those around them" and helping many people put food on the table. 

Meghan likened the provision of a hot meal to a person in crises, to the comfort of a hug of love.

Archewell Foundation's newly appointed Co-Executive Director gets straight to work

At the start of 2023, Meghan and Harry announced some staffing changes for their Archewell organization that included the appointment of Shauna Nep as a Co-Executive Director of Archewell Foundation (AWF). Shauna, a graduate of the University of British Columbia and having a masters degree from New York University, had most recently worked as a Vice-President of Philanthropy at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects.  Getting straight to work Shauna together with the existing Executive Director, James Holt, signed  Archewell Foundation's just published 2020-2022 Impact Statement .  The impact statement provided a great overview of the work completed by Harry and Meghan's Foundation over the past two years and includes a brief section called "Looking Ahead." Prince Harry joins Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the podcast Armchair Expert

Prince Harry was a guest of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman in episode 325 of their podcast, Armchair Expert. During the hour and a half episode, the trio touched on many issues relating to trauma, addictions, mental health and emotional well-being.  Harry also spoke about life in the Royal Family (including some notable moments before he married Meghan) and they touched on his reasons for leaving. Harry, Dax and Monica talked about Harry's life in the British Army, press intrusion into family life, and about some of the pros and cons of social media.
