The Bob Woodruff Foundation raise money for veterans and military families. Per their website the vision of the foundation is 'to create long lasting positive outcomes for US wounded, ill and injured veterans, service members and their families'. Donations can be made through the website.

The foundation was set up by the Woodruff family following Bob's life-threatening injuries he sustained when reporting in Iraq for ABC's World News Tonight, and which resulted in Bob spending 36 days in a medically-induced coma at a Naval hospital in Maryland. Whilst there, he and his family met families of service members dealing with health issues sustained during their military service.

The experiences inspired the Woodruff family to start their foundation.
