Harry and Meghan pay a sweet tribute to Princess Diana by getting their hands dirty

On what was the 23rd anniversary of the tragic death of Prince Harry's and Prince William's mother, Princess Diana, Meghan and Harry helped LA preschoolers re-plant a garden at the Assistance League of Los Angeles Preschool Learning Centre.

Meghan and Harry rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in helping the children to plant flowers. I notice from the photos how some of the children wisely grabbed the watering cans, so avoiding getting too dirty.

The mission of the Assistance League of Los Angeles is to improve the lives of impoverished children in the community through philanthropy, dedicated service, and compassionate programs. For over 100 years, the Assistance League® of Los Angeles has provided women in the Greater Los Angeles area with opportunities to forge new connections and take leadership in their communities while making meaningful contributions to the lives of thousands.

The Preschool Learning Centre is but one of the many programs offered by this organization. Other programs include: Foster Children's Resource Centre; Theatre for Children and the Bright Future Scholarship Program. Check out their website to see all of the fantastic work that they do.

This was a very sweet tribute to his late mother and an excellent way to keep Harry's mind off the events from 23 years ago.
