Meghan Markle is the real deal and we appreciate her - says Michael Johnson, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County

The Duchess of Sussex made a follow-up telephone call to Michael Johnson, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County. 

We recall that Meghan phoned Wisconsin assault victim Althea Bernstein last week, a call that was facilitated through Mr. Johnson. At the time of that call, Johnson tweeted how he had asked Meghan to come and give a talk to youth in Wisconsin some time in the future. 

 Well maybe that or something linked to the group is in the works?

Michael tweeted about his follow up call with Meghan today that 'blew him away.' The details of the discussion remain private, however Michael was clearly impressed with Meghan's commitment, the fact that she took the time to follow through with him and to follow up on Althea's well-being. If ever Meghan wants a job there is one ready for her!

Archewell Foundation's newly appointed Co-Executive Director gets straight to work

At the start of 2023, Meghan and Harry announced some staffing changes for their Archewell organization that included the appointment of Shauna Nep as a Co-Executive Director of Archewell Foundation (AWF). Shauna, a graduate of the University of British Columbia and having a masters degree from New York University, had most recently worked as a Vice-President of Philanthropy at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects.  Getting straight to work Shauna together with the existing Executive Director, James Holt, signed  Archewell Foundation's just published 2020-2022 Impact Statement .  The impact statement provided a great overview of the work completed by Harry and Meghan's Foundation over the past two years and includes a brief section called "Looking Ahead." Prince Harry joins Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the podcast Armchair Expert

Prince Harry was a guest of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman in episode 325 of their podcast, Armchair Expert. During the hour and a half episode, the trio touched on many issues relating to trauma, addictions, mental health and emotional well-being.  Harry also spoke about life in the Royal Family (including some notable moments before he married Meghan) and they touched on his reasons for leaving. Harry, Dax and Monica talked about Harry's life in the British Army, press intrusion into family life, and about some of the pros and cons of social media.
