Prince Harry sends a special message of support to the Invictus Games family
On what would have been the opening day of the Invictus Games The Hague 2020, Prince Harry has sent a message of encouragement to the Invictus servicemen and servicewomen who would have been in the Netherlands right now but for the dramatic effects of Covid-19, that caused the games to be deferred from 2020 to 2021. Harry promised that the new dates for the 2021 games will be released soon.
In the meantime, Harry urged the wider Invictus family to continue
to show their resilience and their Invictus spirt by reaching out to each other
through social media, and to keep a special watch out for people who might have
gone off the radar or 'gone quiet', and check all is well.
Harry thanked everyone at Invictus for their continued support and
sent a special thank you to the incredible health professionals keeping
everyone safe.
