Happy Mother's Day Meghan Markle - Piers Morgan admits to taking things a 'bit too far' in his media vendetta against you.

The content of an article published in the May 10th 2020 UK Sunday Times  about journalist Piers Morgan will please fans of the Duchess of Sussex. In my mind, the admission by Piers that he has 'taken things a bit too far' in his hostility towards Meghan is long overdue, but welcome none the less. The publication of the article coincides with Mother's Day in the US.

Piers is one of the regular co-hosts of the popular breakfast show Good Morning Britain (GMB) . He has been scathing and just dam right nasty in his reporting of all things Meghan Markle and he has emboldened others to do the same. Piers has regularly played Meghan off against her father Thomas.
Duchess of Sussex gets good news on Mother's Day 2020 - Piers Morgan admits to taking things a 'bit too far' in his media vendetta against her
During the Times interview, mainly about Covid-19 and how badly Piers feels President Trump and UK politicians have handled the crisis, Piers talks of how the pandemic has caused him to rethink what is really important in terms of his journalism.

Times journalist Decca Aitkenhead throws in a question about his reporting about Meghan Markle. He asks Piers:

"I tell him I thought his vendetta against Meghan Markle, in revenge for her dropping their modest friendship after meeting Harry, diminished Morgan and made him look ugly. With hindsight, would he have dialled any of it down?"

“Yeah, probably,” (says Piers) softly. “I think that’s a perfectly fair criticism. It’s probably not wise, if you’re a columnist, to make things too personal. Have I taken things a bit too far? Probably. Do I think that will govern and temper how I talk about them going forward? Absolutely.”

Lets wait and see if Piers follows through!
