The case for elopement - Duchess of Sussex v Associated Newspapers

No matter who 'wins' the Duchess of Sussex’s UK Civil Court Case against Associated Newspapers, no amount of money or apologies will remove the amount of stress Meghan suffered mere days ahead of what should have been the most joyous day of her life.

The whole "I am not coming to your wedding" announcement by Thomas Markle fours days before he was meant to walk Meghan down the aisle, with the whole world watching no less, had to be heart breaking for Meghan. Every bride knows how stressful weddings are. Add onto this a media frenzy when every word she said and every action and gesture she made was being scrutinized and pulled apart, kudos to Meghan that she didn't have a hissy fit and call the whole thing off. I am glad I had a spur of the moment wedding far away from home.

Here's to elopement.
