Disney + and Meghan Markle Project Confirmed Today

There has been speculation for some time that Meghan was doing a film project with Disney. Today, Disney +has confirmed that this is indeed the case.

In April (Earth Month) we will be able to stream from the Disney + service a documentary film titled "Elephant" that is narrated by the Duchess of Sussex.

For her part, Meghan advises that instead of taking payment for her work, she asked that Disney make a donation to the nonprofit organisation Elephants Without Borders (EWB), a charity that Harry has worked with in the past, most recently this past October when he stopped in as part of couple's African Royal Tour.

Per the EWB website  the Botswana based charity is described as being "Dedicated to conserving wildlife and natural resources; through innovative research, education, and information sharing with all people. They strive to encourage mankind to live in harmony with wildlife and the natural world."

The group was founded by Botswana born Mike Chase who has studied ecology to PhD level and says he has a passion for Elephants. In 2015 Mike was awarded the “Presidential Order of Meritorious Service Award” by Botswana’s President for exceptional service to the country and conservation efforts.
