Meghan Markle and Prince Harry change up their Instagram Social Awareness Campaign

Each month since last May, Meghan and Harry have been selectively limiting who they follow on their Instagram account. At the start of each month they chose a new theme aiming to draw awareness to a variety of social causes and issues around the globe. In 2020 Meghan and Harry have announced that they will continue this tradition of highlighting accounts that they say "inspire, and that remind of all the good that is happening in the world". However rather than choosing multiple accounts to follow each month Meghan and Harry will be focusing on just one account each month. For January, they have chosen to shine a spotlight on @goodnews_movement, an account described as being a journalist run page celebrating acts of kindness and good news around the world.

Given that Meghan and Harry both have on-going lawsuits with a couple of UK media outlets, they appear to be sending a message that journalism can be positive.
