Duke and Duchess of Sussex - Queen Announces Progress is Being Made

Queen Elizabeth II released a statement today following family discussions held at her estate in Sandringham, Norfolk (now affectionately being called the "Sandringham Summit") where the family started to talk through the practical implications of the decision made by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry last week to step back as Senior Royals. The statement makes it clear that the Queen's preference, at least, is for Harry and Meghan to remain full-time members of the Royal Family, a signal of her personal support for them both and for their work. Much is unsaid in this release and more details will likely follow. For now we can expect Harry and Meghan to have a base here in Canada as well as continue to have a home in the UK. Good news for everyone!
