Duke and Duchess post New Year's Eve Instagram Video Reviewing their 2019 Work

Harry and Meghan have posted an Instagram video montage for their 10 million followers with the musical background courtesy of Cold Play. The video contains short clips from Meghan and Harry's 2019 overseas tours and from many of their official appointments during 2019, reminding us of the many causes that they have supported this past year on top of the arrival of their first child. The first and final frames show a picture of Harry holding (adorable) Archie. The backdrop appears to be the waterfront in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada? In any event it is a very recent picture of Archie and I love it!

Along with the video the Duke and Duchess put paid to speculation that they are withdrawing from Royal duties with the following statement:  "Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and thanking you for your continued support! We’ve loved meeting so many of you from around the world and can’t wait to meet many more of you next year. We hope 2020 brings each of you health and continued happiness - The Duke and Duchess of Sussex".

I know we should not encourage the tabloids to hunt out pictures of Meghan, Harry and Archie, but it was lovely to see a recent pic. of the "Adorable Archie" just ahead of his second birthday on May 6th 2021. And look at Meghan's bump. Baby No.2 is growing nicely and it appears that it won't be long before Archie's sister arrives. Was Archie off to a play date? Archewell Foundation's newly appointed Co-Executive Director gets straight to work

At the start of 2023, Meghan and Harry announced some staffing changes for their Archewell organization that included the appointment of Shauna Nep as a Co-Executive Director of Archewell Foundation (AWF). Shauna, a graduate of the University of British Columbia and having a masters degree from New York University, had most recently worked as a Vice-President of Philanthropy at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects.  Getting straight to work Shauna together with the existing Executive Director, James Holt, signed  Archewell Foundation's just published 2020-2022 Impact Statement .  The impact statement provided a great overview of the work completed by Harry and Meghan's Foundation over the past two years and includes a brief section called "Looking Ahead." Looking ahead, Archewell Foundation (AWF) Executor's say that they will maintain "an unwavering commitment to key issues which have an overwhelming ripple effect on our collective well-being.... including working to

Prince Harry joins Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the podcast Armchair Expert

Prince Harry was a guest of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman in episode 325 of their podcast, Armchair Expert. During the hour and a half episode, the trio touched on many issues relating to trauma, addictions, mental health and emotional well-being.  Harry also spoke about life in the Royal Family (including some notable moments before he married Meghan) and they touched on his reasons for leaving. Harry, Dax and Monica talked about Harry's life in the British Army, press intrusion into family life, and about some of the pros and cons of social media. Armchair Expert will shortly be moving exclusively to Spotify, the same as Meghan and Harry's own Podcast Archewell.  Click to LISTEN
