WellChild Awards 2019

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are scheduled to attend the WellChild Awards 2019 this evening.  Prince Harry is Patron of WellChild U.K.

The winners of the annual awards have  already been chosen and a short story about each award recipient is posted on the web site for the awards. Warning, their stories may bring tears to your eyes.

WllChild Awards 2019 to be attended by Duke and Duchess of Sussex
The recipients include children or young adults who have undergone or are undergoing health treatments for serious conditions yet still show courage and do not complain and who at the same time manage to think of others and maybe raise funds or try to make life for other young patients better and more tolerable.

There are also care-giver award winners, often siblings to a seriously ill child, who show maturity, compassion and dedication to their siblings cause. Lastly but not least some of the award recipients are volunteers, teachers, social workers, nurses and doctors who go the extra mile to make a difference in the lives of all young patients.

Well done to them all and to others nominated.
