In an interview given to Decca Aitkenhead and published in today's Sunday Times newspaper, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton both describe the Duchess of Sussex as a 'gutsy woman' and both admit to being fans.

Hillary and Chelsea Clinton admire what Meghan Markle is doing
Hillary Clinton expressed her thoughts that Meghan has been treated inexplicably by the U.K. press and added that if this treatment was because Meghan is biracial then "shame on everyone."

Chelsea Clinton said that while she did not know Meghan and had not met her, that the criticism that the Duchess has encountered could be down to her having the "temerity to break the mould of what has previously been established and expected", adding that she respects Meghan and hopes that Meghan will persist unbowed and continue doing the work that she feels called to do and show that she is not willing to be bullied.
