Fans instigate Virtual Fundraising Tribute for Baby Sussex

Your fans, fed up with the negativity in the press, did a very thoughtful thing on your behalf.

Launched to coincide with Mother's Day in the UK and as a way to give you a Baby Shower, a group of your supporters encouraged others to make on-line donations to the benefit of some charities that are of keen interest to you. 

Described as being a 'meaningful way to celebrate the impending arrival of Baby Sussex and to acknowledge your philanthropic efforts' this was felt to be a meaningful way to pay tribute to yours and Harry's values of compassion and kindness. 

Three charities that have reportedly expressed their surprise and joy in receiving donations as a result of this campaign are Camfed; Mayhew; and WellChild.  

Maybe baby-showers are not just a North-American thing after all!

I know we should not encourage the tabloids to hunt out pictures of Meghan, Harry and Archie, but it was lovely to see a recent pic. of the "Adorable Archie" just ahead of his second birthday on May 6th 2021. Archewell Foundation's newly appointed Co-Executive Director gets straight to work

At the start of 2023, Meghan and Harry announced some staffing changes for their Archewell organization that included the appointment of Shauna Nep as a Co-Executive Director of Archewell Foundation (AWF). Shauna, a graduate of the University of British Columbia and having a masters degree from New York University, had most recently worked as a Vice-President of Philanthropy at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects.  Getting straight to work Shauna together with the existing Executive Director, James Holt, signed  Archewell Foundation's just published 2020-2022 Impact Statement .  The impact statement provided a great overview of the work completed by Harry and Meghan's Foundation over the past two years and includes a brief section called "Looking Ahead." Prince Harry joins Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the podcast Armchair Expert

Prince Harry was a guest of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman in episode 325 of their podcast, Armchair Expert. During the hour and a half episode, the trio touched on many issues relating to trauma, addictions, mental health and emotional well-being.  Harry also spoke about life in the Royal Family (including some notable moments before he married Meghan) and they touched on his reasons for leaving. Harry, Dax and Monica talked about Harry's life in the British Army, press intrusion into family life, and about some of the pros and cons of social media.
